Hi Guys,

Finally got the noble back. Just noticed now that the alarm siren isnt working. Its not making the little bleep now when u unlock or lock.

Anyone any ideas on what it could be other than the siren gone?

Could there is any link to battery issues like not enough power to power the siren?

Thanks
Steve

is the alarm arming and dearming, and working the door locks etc ?

If so try switching the beeps back on,and also check the siren actually works when triggered.

Doors are locking...

Tried to set the alarm off there by jumping into the car locking it and moving around etc. Doesnt seem like the alarm is being armed/set when it locks.

maybe somehow the power to alarm has been run down, perhaps while off the road, so it has gone back to default settings which might turn these off..... only guessing... get the owners manual out and get your fob and turn these features back on... worth a try.

The Alarm does seem to be arming...

It just went off there when i was looking around at things. Hazard lights going off, but no noise.

Anyone know where the siren is located so i can check it is linked up ok?

Thanks
Steve

It's under the front clam by the wiper motor.

This happened to me, new siren unit was required - not expensive though, about £40 as I recall.

Steve,

My Siren went faulty too, exactly the same as yours. You may need to pull out the rear panel in front of the windscreen to reach it, bought mine direct from Autowatch.

Cheers

Check the wiring to the siren first, just next to the airbox under the front clam, there is a two pin plug, firstly make sure it is connected, unclip it and spray some WD40. If this does not work then...

+4 get a new siren.

Mine stopped work once after I'd washed it with a quite powerful hose. Then the next day it was fine and has been ever since. Try taking if off and giving it a dry with a hair-dryer, it might work.

I havent managed to get mine out yet for a look,

Was just wondering if anyone could get a chance to put a photo up of the connector and location of the siren please?

I am non mechanically minded and always feel like I am messing around with the wrong connectors and fear something else breaking on me smile

Thanks
Steve

Guys please remember this is a public forum! The world now knows enough info to effectively get into a noble and disable the siren. Then while you're asleep and it's all quiet......

...... These are the sort of topics that nobleparts was designed for rolleyes
