Discovery 2 - What to look out for?

I am looking at buying a Discovery 2 within the next couple of weeks for the better half. We have around £10 - £11k to spend and are looking at 2004 Landmarks as they have leather etc as standard.

What should I be looking out for when I view them? i.e. auto or manual; does mileage really matter on one of these; common faults to be weary of etc etc

Any help would be appreciated!!!
