Need to cut some skirting boards, have faffed around with a hand saw too many times so now want a powered mitre saw, don't want to spend a fortune as it will only be used for DIY, maybe £100 but would love to spend less if anyone can recommend a cheap, but good product.

A bigger 250mm blade would be better. Skirting will be 120mm.

Screwfix do a few

if you are cutting wide boards you would be better off with onea telescopic arm that you pull towards you first then drop down to cut then push away from youself. Why not hire one for a couple of days and save some money?

Looks nice enough but this fella will be a bit more versatile for not much more money

Used this for a few big jobs, superb value and will cut pretty much anything!

Screwfix aren't usually that cheap.

The makita is cheaper here

They are a very good company, I've bought thousands of pounds of stuff from them.

The other recommendation is cheaper as well
