Engine Number help

This might not be any use because I cant see the first number/letter properly

But worth a shot it either begins with a X-K-R ?? the rest is WV8D013846

Can any one help?

Its a Rover V8 suppose to be a 4.0 from a 1995 Chim

Out of Tip Of My Hairyarse

I managed to get hold of him on the off chance as he was getting some paper work

V8D= V8 developments
01= year it was built
38= number of engine built to date
46= 4.6

So good news for me

I have also some head numbers with V8D and will know more info on Tuesday
