External Pipe Wrap for Frost Protection?

A sparky friend has told me about a heating wrap attached to a thermostat that senses freezing temps and switches on. I want to use this on the feed pipes to our wshing machine in the garage. The idiot who plumbed it in used the pipe for the outside tap and has used to lagging whatsoever.

Anyone know of a brand name or supplier?
