Pistonheads Iphone App

Was just wondering if Pistonheads were going to release a proper app for the Iphone or if there is one out already I dont know about? I go on Pistonheads on my phone and its pretty user friendly but it would be nice to see an app with a few more features and so I can get straight on from the phone interface and dont have to mess around.

Just add the pistonheads link to your Home Screen. Even get a nice Pistonheads logo too

When on the page in question, press the 'forward' symbol at the bottom of the screen. You then get a list of options, one of them being "Add to Home Screen". Press that and you're sorted

We are not planning on creating and mobile apps which duplicate the functionality of the mobile site any time in the near future, preferring instead to focus our limited time on the mobile site as this will be future-proof and work on any platform.

If we do create an app or two, they will be to do things which the site itself cannot.

A fun idea, but again, I have no idea exactly how it would be useful...

I know: take a photo of any car and it superimposes a tin of Birds custard.

But then it's more of a 'cheat at the custard test' app. Not what I had in mind. Hmm.
