Hi, just looking for a little bit of guidance pls. I have a 07 plate F430 and while driving today the suspension system warning light came on. When I stopped the car and restarted it, the light went off again.

It did this once before recently.

Just looking for some feedback as to whether these lights come on in error frequently or if it's a get it looked at by Ferrari issue.

Many thanks for any opinions.

I had this last summer, happened twice on my '55 plate 430. Turned out to be a faulty sensor that was changed under warranty along with a few other bits at the annual service - my advice get it checked,my car has only done 4k but 430s are known for undercarriage parts 'wearing' even without much use - from what I've been told and read on here. Hope that helps.

Thanks, that's useful. Mine's only done 4k miles too- previous owner hardly ever used it, so my thoughts were it's more likely to be a failed sensor type fault rather than some major suspension failure.

In case of interest to anyone, Ferrari have told me that the performance of the car under normal conditions is unaffected by this fault- only an issue for hard driving or track days, and as such, the car is booked in for a couple fo weeks time to be attended too.

Will be interesting to see if the warranty picks this up given the car's only done 4k miles.

Had complete new front suspension at 7000 miles (06 car). All covered under warranty. Apparently the lower the mileage the more likely failure is. The bushes dry up and go brittle, but you can only buy the whole arms as a replacement part.

That's interesting, thanks. Will put up a post once it comes back from Ferrari to share outcome with other 430 owners.
