Need a new clutch doing on a 2003 Mondeo estate.

Ford are asking comedy money.

Anyone know a geezer that can do this anywhere from Leeds to Newcastle?

An idea of price would be good.

PM if you prefer.

Is the clutch slipping or are gears not engaging properly? If it's simple slippage you could probably get away with replacing just the friciton plate. I'd buy the parts online and use a decent local garage.

I would use Andy Turner in Kirkstall Leeds on 0113 278 4003

He can also look after your TVR

I think he does look after his TVR, pretty sure i saw it there last year or so at some stage. I would have thought he'd be ok for a clutch change now as well.

Hi.

Yes Andy has looked after my Tam in the past, but I have since move oop North so he's not the nearest option at the moment.

May buy the bits as suggested.

It's a petrol and it's not letting you select a gear on startup so you have to start with it in gear and the clutch in.

Anyone know which bits are needed apart from a clutch plate?
