I can't believe I actually went in to the kitchen to do that. I should be in bed but I am delaying the inevitable return to work on tuesday.

So the crumpet has cheese added before toasting, then spread with butter, Marmite and mustard?

Cheese is optional, but if you want it, cut a pocket in the crumpet with a serrated knife and place your cheese inside.

Once toasted, butter, marmite, mustard.

Eat.

NB - I am not responsible for your toaster spewing blue smoke all over your kitchen. Just make sure the slit is facing up and you'll be fine.
