Our 1.9tdi 2004 grand scenic shows a couple of fault codes, first is check emissions which has been narrowed down to a egr fault- I may be barking up the wrong tree(again) but is there anything i can spray into the inlet that will help with carbon build up?
second is check injection and we lose a lot ofpower low down-only happens now and then, probably related.
Thanks
Ray
P.s. was getting 40ish mpg on a 130 mile run this morning, sitting 10 leptons over where i should

Be carefull about spraying anything into it when its running could cause a overrev !!! best to take the inlet apart and clean/replace egr, basicly oil mist combines with soot from the exhaust and gums and even blocks manifolds, missing services letting the engine oil get sludgey or not useing diesel spec oil adds to the problem.... hope this helps...

I have used the petrol version of this:

And i can not recommend it enough, even managed to scrape (my non cat equipped) mx-3 through the mot emissions test
