distal biceps tendon rupture
Discussion
If you are reading this you probably have had treatment. Please, any advice on surgeons to repair and especially any to avoid. London area. Happened yesterday, local hospital no comfort at all. Done all the usual google stuff but all they seem to do is knees. Any info helpfull to help a distressed mind
I'm a knee surgeon working in Yorkshire, so this is not on my radar, but the following lists should help you a little.
Remember most surgeons have both NHS and private practice, so you find the details for a man in one sector and you can be sure he works at the other sector, just "up the road" as we call it

This from Prof Len Funk in Manchester is a 5* article/resource: http://www.shoulderdoc.co.uk/article.asp?section=9...
This lot look quite good too: http://www.londonorthopaedic.com/shoulder-and-elbo... and http://www.londonorthopaedic.com/who-we-are/brian-...
but it's a judgement from another professional (me) not a pleased patient or structured review of his clinical practice
Best of luck.
