Hi People,
At last, after six months getting repaired I will soon be getting my beloved Griff 4.3 back :-)
However, the none standard rubbish wheels that the previous owner put on cannot be replaced ( what a shame!!! )
Sooo, I'm after ideas/pics/websites of Griff's with non-standard wheels....and websites of good dealers.
I don't want the 500 wheels or the 16 inch upgrade. Apart from that I'm open to ideas.
God it's like trying to pick a pair of shoes for somebody else......

You wanna be different, and at the same time give the original blackpool beast a real treat?
Get the hub conversion as mentioned before, ZZtop had his done, talk to him for more info if needed.
Then, get yourself some Volk Racing wheels, they're not cheap, but they're not too pricey for what they are either... upgrade the suspension while you're at it (unless you've been there already) and bang some fine looking Volks.
Just an idea, but the Griffith has one of the most aggressive stances, and the spiders will just poser-it... (although will look sexy with the spiders if thats what you're after) lets amplify the aggressive british styling of the beast!
Today some Volks, tomorrow wider arches, opened and flared out front, massive vents in the bonnet (keep the baby cooler for hot days) and some carbon box-tailpipes like the mighty tuscan... mmm, the mind just boggles... of course, there is a limit, but there is sooo much you can do with the Griffith...

Otherwise, for the serene simple affair, hub conversion and a set of spiders will do fine.

ouch...that makes one expensive set of spiders!?

I'm can't make my mind between the Dynamics Diablo's and the ACE 157's both psuedo split rim spiders for my Griff 500.
One thing to watch out for - a lot of the rims only go up to 7J and you will need at least a 7.5J to get 235/245 tyres on the rear, which is why I'm having to change the non std rims that were on my car when i bought it.

Morning fella's.When I bought my 400 Griff I wanted to put a set of new alloys on, but how to choose?So I cranked up my son's PS2 and Gran Turismo game chose a Griff of similar colour then picked the wheels which I liked best.Phoned Peninsula and bought a set of 17" Speedlines all round.
