Warning: Bone Question Alert.

Is it possible to open the boot of a Mk3 without having to use the button on the keyfob? I'm sure the manual says it should be possible from the little touch panel thing on the boot lid.

As you can tell, mine isn't doing that!

Isn't there a manual release down by the bonnet release?
I'm sure my dad said that's where it is on his Mk3.5. smile

Correct, there's a boot release button next to the bonnet release.

Jeez!

Would you look at that, I'm sure it wasn't there when I did my first 'explore' of the car wink

Though it shouldn't work if the car is locked.
