Hi,

Can anyone recommend places to buy (not rent) a kilt outfit in the Aberdeen or nearby area?

Thanks in advance smile

Gibbs in Inverurie, they must be due an ex rental sale soon or they canget one made for you.

I got mine made through them more than 10 years ago and it's still going strong.

I would recommend Gerogian Dress Hire (01224 633537) for a Kilt purchase. I bought mine last year for my wedding and they were helpful and friendly. They also adjust the kilt as you get older and clean and press it for you. Fantastic service all round.

It's really worth buy your own length of fabric and getting a kilt made by a self-employed kiltmaker. I know someone in the Black Isle area who'll do the whole think for £100 and they're very good.
