2005 rr s/c whining noise

my car seems to have developed a whining noise above 70 mph it sounds like wind noise coming from the front end,its not linked to the speed of the engine and doesnt change under acceleration or deceleration,any clues??

Have you had a new screen recently?
Or is any trim loose around the screen?

I had this on my previous 2005 RR S/C. It was due to the plastic 'spacers' under the bonnet (there are 3-4 of them horizontally) just below the wipers in the engine compartment creating a gap between the plastic engine cover and the body work above. They are fixed but a couple of mine had broken off. Without them above about 50mph the air reverberates between the gap making the noise. Probably needs a photo to explain! Seemed a bit of bodge job by LR but they all have them. If this explanation doesn't make sense let me know and I'll go out and take a photo...
