S1 exhaust manifold

Hi
I have recently got new SS fount pipes for the S the near side fits
fine but the offside is nothing like Wat's on my car they came from A T C
i think my car has been changed at some point as the manifold is different to
the bible and has no proper joint in it has anyone got a photo of one please
i will try and post a photo of mine

S1, so thats the 2.8 engine ?

is this any help ....... 19 is described as an "Exhaust Olive"

yes it is a 2.8 but my maifold go s to the bottom of the engine
and a short frount pipe how do i post photos it keeps teling me
thay are to big

Looks like its has a custom tubular manifold made - so you may have to cut and shut something together.

The original S1 cast manifolds are I beleive Cortina 2.3 manifolds fitted on the wrong side of the engine. The 2.3 cortina was a rare beast.

I dont really understand what that photo shows? I have stainless manifolds on my s1 and the only differance is the down pipes now go under the chassis not over?????

looked at mine today, the down pipe is th same as mine but it is designed to fit the stainless manifold hence the join. hope that helps

yes thanks got price for new manifolds from tvr car parts £250 ISH SO i think the old one will
go back on for now, the near side looks good. been cleaning and painting shassis now just got
to waxoyl now put the exhaust back on take out the dash and get the heater fan working and the top hing
in the door sorted and the roof leaks a bit but i do about 7000 miles a year in it and i love it
