Boxster overheat

Driveing along in my 03 2.7 boxster on the 25 when we hit a tail back crawling along I notice the temp going up up up then lights come on time to stop turned it off got out just in time to see water pouring out the back the dealer has had it a few days now Ive heard nothing !! any one had the same
