Decent Main Dealer (Midlands)?

Ah, just asked where you'd looked at on your other thread. Maybe you should try Droitwich or poss Lye/Stourbridge?
Droitwich were quite decent when I went there. So was Market Rasen when I went to check out a used Defender, though that is a reasonably long way, more "I want one, now who do I want to deal with?" territory.Just bought a used RR from Coventry - my second from them. Big dealership - Synter I think. The guys I met were straight forward and delivered.
Edited to day that I live 2 miles from LR Droitwich and pass them every day but they don't seem to hold much stock - obviously doesn't affect a new purchase.

Again a bit of a hike but I use MJ Fews in Charfield, just south of Gloucester. I bought my first Land Rover from them in 1994 and have had four more since. They still have the same three people in the sales team as in '94. Completely genuine, honest people (and enthusiasts) who rely on repeat custom rather than a smooth talking salesman. Never had any problems getting warranty work done.
I now live in the Midlands but I bought the last car from them. I get it serviced at the MD in Stratford as it's much nearer, which although they are polite enough feels like a polished corporate veneer over a number of people who don't really care.
