The girlfriend has £7000 burning a hole in her pocket and fancies a mini. Ive seen a 2006 plate one seven model locally with 42k on the clock for £6995 and it looks nice.
Id plan to do a bluefin upgrade on it which ive heard makes it a little perkier than a standard cooper.
Any tips on things to look out for on these models?
Thanks

Only tip is to look for the most amount of kit you can, that money is quite high for a one and more well spec cooper

The reason they are high price is they don't depreciate much, you will loose less money getting a good spec, get AC as most people won't even look at a mini without it and without AC you could loose money when it comes round to selling.

As said try and find the highest spec car and you will find a cooper is probably better for holding money.

Got a One for the other half. Wanted to chip it but now we have had it for 6 months it drives ok, its not as slow as you think and the copper is not that much quicker. The S is a diffrent mater. Check that the car has the bits you want there are a lot of diffrant bits from larger wheels to sat nav Ac sun roof etc.

Ah I see, it's a ONE SEVEN. Don't see many of those around, or certainly I don't. Nice spec.
