Sky+HD and a magic eye

I was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue I have with a Sky+HD box.

I previously had Sky+ with a cable running to a TV in the upstairs bedroom where I also had a magic eye which allowed me to change channels upstairs. However, I now have a Sky+HD box but the magic eye doesn't work.

The picture and sound on Sky is fine upstairs so there is no issue with the cable connection. I thought maybe the magic eye was broken so I bought a new one but that doesn't work either.

Does anyone know how I can change channels upstairs? I don't have the Sky Multiroom package as I don't need to watch different programs upstairs, I just need to be able to change channels.

You need to turn the 9v power on for the RF socket, it is in the settings somewhere, haven't got an HD box to hand so cannot check. Also it may only come on RF2 out, same as the SD boxes, so make sure you use RF2 out to send to the eye.

Hi Colin. As CJS was saying you need to turn on the 9v output on your new box.
