Are the surge tanks like these any good?

Are they worth the money or false economy?

Whilst it will limit/eliminate fuel surge, a nicely designed fuel tank will stop most of it, or just get a swirl pot, which is cheaper. Although price will depend upon what fittings you need. Push on will obviously be cheapest.

At the end of the day any tank with a small enough volume so fuel cannot slosh about, but large enough to work...will work.
As long as it has the correct size fittings and where you need them. But -6 to supply any decent pump is too small IMO. Minimum of -8.
But even a custom tank or more typical round one wont be overly expensive.

Just depends what you want and where you are going to put it.
Some of the US and Aussie designed complete packages like the turboLS1 site look fairly good though, and are designed as a bolt in package.
