Hi guys,

Heading to London on Friday for the weekend to see family and I've been given the task of taking my younger cousins around to see some supercars. They've seen plenty of 430's and Gallardos so they're more interested in rarer stuff like Veyron/Enzo/Carrera GT/Zonda/Reventon - do any of the showrooms in central London have any of these at the moment? I know a few places; HR Owen, Lamborghini London, Jack Barkley - is there anywhere else I should look?

BTW my cousins are both 15 so I'm guessing most places wouldn't mind them having a look?

Any advice appreciated smile

Bobforstner for zonda, koenigsegg, spyker etc,
Aston Martin for a revoulting greeny coloured aston martin ugly duckling + dbs and V8s
Lambo London, not sure what they got in, the building round the back usually a bit
Ferrari as you say.
Tesla if you are into that kind of stuff.
and Jag in knightsbridge might still have the new concept ECO car.

Barclays are quite good at letting you have a look around when you have kids with you. Lambo seem a bit not so happy to do so.
The Forstners place will have a Zonda and had an Enzo, but I'm sure one of the London based chaps will be along to confirm.

Bet bet would be to try the following

Bob Forstner Park Lane
Just behind Harrods - always those matt purple/pink/blue LP670/SLS etc.
The Dorchester, London - you will nearly always finds some sort of Veyron there.

Whenever I am in London I go to these places, as well as the usual Dorchester, Park Lane etc..

Bob Forstner Park Lane- very nice people but I think its by appointment only. They have Pagani, Koenigsegg etc.

Make sure to check around the back of Bob Forstner too. smile

HR Owen Specialist- loads of Lamborghini's, Maserati and Porsche etc.

HR Owen Ferrari- very nice people, always have something nice in the showroom. Salesman are very happy to chat if they aren't too busy.

Jack Barclay sometimes has a Veyron in it. But usually just has the odd Supersports.

Lambo London only has LP560's there now, much better visiting the specialist showroom around the corner.

Plenty of stuff in the streets as well in all the areas mentioned above. Not sure about seeing an F40 or F50 but a few are around. You are more likely to see something like a 599 GTO as HR Owen have delivered a few now.

Hope this helps.

Harry

It's now changed companies, and has had nothing like a McLaren for a long time now - generally a few older Ferrari, few 250 replica based on unpopular Ferrari chassis or similar. There are generally a few nice old cars, but they don't change often.

I don't know HR Owens Ferrari so well, but last time I was there the person was happy to let me look around - but also be aware if there is a customer then it's best to wait/ try later. The same with Lambo London (HR Owens) - if you go round the back and ask nicely then they might let you in. They let me take some pictures of the Reventon they have (had?) for a donation to their charity tin, which I thought was a very good idea.

Bob Forstner should have a Zonda Cinque Roadster and Koenigsegg CCR in lime green, as well as interesting lambos and a few Spyker. Last time I was there it was Bob Forstner himself that was in charge, but that might have changed. Enzo went a long time ago unless there was a new one recently.

Also look around some of the carparks in the Knightsbridge area if you're very keen - at this time of year you're more likely to see stuff in them, rather than the street (although there are some "regulars" all year round!)

You're very unlikely to see a McLaren F1 - there are 2 around the area, but they are out so rarely that you'd be extremely lucky to see one. The Enzo or McLaren SLR are the most popular higher end supercars in central London. One time in summer I saw 2 different Enzos 2 days in a row.

Go to the Harrods carpark thats always interesting.

Dont park there though - takes ages to get into and its really expensive (not surprisingly).

Thanks Jonafan, what about this car park? I'm guessing I wouldn't be able to walk in off the street?

Can you get any further out than the centre? If so Romans in Banstead nearly always have a Veyron and Enzo in stock plus according to their website they also have an F50, a Merc CLK GTR and a Carrera GT amongst others. Never been in myself so not sure on how happy they are for people to have a look round but there's normally enough of their cheap stock on the forecourt (Lambo's, Ferrari's and Aston's) to keep you interested.

You will need to drive as I'm pretty sure there's no stations nearby.

Used to pop into Romans and have a look around every month or 2, they were always very amicable, been a while though.

Erm, they were still there last Sunday morning when I was passing! Called Hexagon Classic now. There's also Peter Bradfield in the same mews, who always has something old and interesting.

Also worth going past Graehme Hunt's place too, which isn't too far away either.

If you have a car drive into the Cadogan Sq NCP, off Sloane Street.

Pretty much everything in there, a lot under covers but you get the general idea, plus the Marble Arch one worth a punt too.

More metal in those than you will find in any dealer.

But there are some cars just as good down there. Shame the Reventon has gone though. frown

Was in London today and visited a few places so here is what you can probably expect. A few things in Bentley, Aston Martin and Porsche in Mayfair too. Hope you enjoy your trip.
