Just wondered who else has been experiencing this? starts of with strong stomach pains and then about 7 hours of continues vomiting followed by lots of diarrhea.

wondering if anyone has had this that may be able to give me a timeline of how long this is likely to last

Hit our house/family, no more than 24 hours if it's the same bug..

I got it after a stay in hospital. Dirty b*stard place. Sickness and diarrhoea at the same time, with a choice of swallowing while you sit or holding back for the flush to finish before being sick.
The problem is that spores get into the atmosphere and are highly infectious. Its almost a guarantee that others in the house will get it (my wife did). Luckily it only lasts between 12 and 24 hours. Your knackered after it though.

Got the same thing in Vietnam a couple of days ago. Thought it was food until the missus came down with it a day later. Managed to redecorate the toilet cubicle rather beautifully just before my flight to Singapore! Feeling much better now though...

friend had it, sat more or less on the bog with head in adjacent sink, then the sink got blocked up and so was interesting bending over the bog smelling all the poo mixed in with puke

one of the downsides of spending all night in a pub at the end of the year smile

Yup - kids got it on Christmas day. By lunch time on Boxing day they were back to health (ish)
