engine/transaxle installation

At last I am about to fit (temporary) this monster
AS engine!
Thanks to CJ's and other web sites it does not look as daunting as it might have been otherwise.
Have worked out mostly of what goes where except for the transaxle.
On going through the box of bits for the G50 box, (all supplied by the factory) I'm a bit confused about the clutch fork pivot shaft.
I have a small bracket designed to hold this in place with two holes in it (of different sizes) and only one screw.
It is obvious to me that this screw holds the bracket to the bell housing, but why is the other hole in the bracket much bigger? The thread in the end of the clutch fork pivot shaft is the same size as the one in the bell housing.
Hope this makes some sense!
I may have to get some sort of manual for this box sometime in the future.
It is'nt critical yet as I won't need to fit this until after the transaxle is in place.

The threaded hole in the end of the pivot shaft is used to pull out the shaft if you remove the transaxle at any time.
I have the manual for this part and culd get prints of this but you are close anyway.

You put the closed cup needle bearing in the furthest housing from the inspection hole in the bell housing.
When you insert the shaft put a length of M6 studding (all thread) into the end of the shaft to act as a handle.
With the shaft in, slide the open cup bearing down the studding and press it into the housing. On the end of that goes the black plastic cap held in place by the bracket that started this thread.
