Hi all,

Thinking about setting up a meet for late Feb early March on a Sunday aiming for about 10am meet. At the moment just trying to gauge peoples interests for the matter.

I am aiming for the New forest with the aptly named Sandy balls resort.

If anyone wants to do a drive afterwards I will set that up as well.

So if people could add a yay or a nay I will sort something out.

A traditional English pub, the Woodside Inn offers wholesome pub grub including homemade soups, steaks, salads, fish pies, jacket potatoes and baguettes. A children's menu, snack menu and specials blackboard are also available all year round.
Good enough for you Pete wink

Why do all car meets have to be in the morning? Some of us like a lie-in of a weekend!

10 o'clock is nearly afternoon!

Most hoons start at 6 or 7 so we get a chance to use the roads before the morons wake up. Then we have breakfast and most of the day still ahead! smile

Noted, I trust they have decent breakfast facilities, dates as soon as possible so I can sort things.

So you'd rather be out with the Micra/Almera brigade after lunch then? When actually getting to the speed limit is such a monumental occasion you do a little sex wee? I very rarely get a Sunday off so I make the most of them!

I love my lie-ins but early morning starts for time on the empty roads is ALWAYS worth it when you're out there with no-one dawdling along in front thumbup

Count me in too.

Any room for one more? I've not been on a run/meet before as I've never really had a car worthy of joining in the fun, but just got my grubby mitts on an E46 M3 convertible so really want to get out and about in it! Plus the Forest is just round the corner from me!

I've adapted my driving since our run out with Pete. I see Micra/Almera as an added dimension to the fun of driving and give them as many V8 revs as I can muster - being overtaken by 120+db must surely make their day biggrin
