Newport Passport Office

Does anyone know if/what the parking is like at the Passport Office in Newport? I'll be heading over tomorrow afternoon but can't find any details of what parking is like.

Their is a public car park just down the road at the back of some shopping area. The whole area is pretty rough so don't leave anything of value in the car. Newport is not that large so park anywhere near the city center and you will be fine. Just be prepared to be extremely bored for several hours whilst you wait.

As above, not the best of areas !! Make sure everything is well hidden / locked up / secured onto car if you're leaving it for a while Parking isn't too bad in the city centre. Plenty of multi storeys. Just follow the parking signs.

Luckily it won't be a sit and wait job, just a go in submit forms and come back.

Take J25 off M4 and follow signs for city centre. There is a big multi-storey on your right just past the bus station (you can't miss it) and then it's less than 5 mins walk to the passport office (which is on the other side of the bus station).

Be aware of the speed camera under the bridge just after the 30mph sign as you reach the centre

Thanks for the warning about the speed camera...it was nicely hidden! I managed to park almost underneath the flyover. Passport is all submitted, so i should have 1 happy boss in a weeks time.

But to make the trip complete I spotted a F430 in white on my way back to Bristol
