We want to put a glass 'wall' in and have a wood burner in front of it, but am concerned about the heat/type of glass etc that might be required (and subsequently cost)

I've been told toughened glass 1.5m x 2.1m will be in the region of £500, and i'd need 3 panes, but if something more was required it could be far more expensive.

Anyone have any experiences with glazing and heat? or ideas?

I've seen this picture, but it's possible the woodburner is fitted afterwards, and not adhering to building regs?

May be that we just have to put a wall in and block some of the view
