Not really a "kit car" question so forgive me, but I reckon you guys are the best bet for the answer.

Due to fitting aftermarket seats / steering wheel I cannot see some important bits of my dash i.e Water temp and oil pressure gauge, due to be obscured by the rim of the wheel.

I'm going for a fast road approach with the car, so want to keep everything looking OE (ish!) so a digi dash is out, plus I may want to return to standard should I ever sell it.

I currently have boost guage and oil temp gauges in place of my two centre air vents. I'm looking for something like this:

But instead giving readings of things I actually care about. Maybe with warnings if they go outside set parameters. A digi dash light if you will.

I'd mount it in a similar place to the picture, or maybe make a blanking plate and sit it in a DIN slot.

Any ideas?

Thanks! biggrin

Take a look at the Race Technology website and their Dash1 if you havent already, their products are very versatile having 8 programmable analogue channels. I'm eventually fitting their Dash2 to my project.

When I have saved some money I am going to go for these SPA gauges and put them in the 2 centre vents on my dash.

They look like nice bits of kit. I already have gauges in my centre vents though, but using a "double gauge" would give me a few extra read outs...

I want to be able to see oil temp / pressure, water temp and boost pressure but I do not have the budget for a digidash and I also do not want to have 4 separate gauges spread across the dash. I also wanted to have configurable warning lights which the SPA ones have.

Actually it is worth making a point about warning lights. Without a digidash with its big flashy lights and warning messages it is a pain looking at 3 or 4 gauges on the dash and remembering which is which and what the acceptable range for each gauge is. You also find that on track you don't always have time to study them and more often than not you completely forget them so a warning light is a must in my opinion.
