I'll be here a bit more over the next couple of months as I'm doing a 'Come dine with me' at home. 4 couples.

I enjoy cooking, and am reasonably accomplished cook in a home cooking sense.

I have some nice crockery and so on, but I don't have full sets for 8 people. I am determined to have a nice looking table (oh, I have drawn the country France for my efforts) and so to have full sets and crisp table linen would be loverly.

I've been looking at some plate hire web sites and some seem to offer nice plates at about 15pence each, so it seems a reasonable idea cost wise.

I'm in Bewdley, Worcs. Anyone able to recommend a good hire shop for my needs please? Otherwise I'm back to Google.

Part of me would go to go for a rustic French look on the table, but this will involve (I think) too much effort. A clean uniform approach will probably be my best bet.

Anyway, thoughts and advice very welcome.

Nick

You should be okay hiring from most suppliers, just clarify the minimum charge, and you may need to collect and return as the company I use have a minimum charge of £250 for delivery and collection. Work out the cost carefully though, for the hire cost of 8 settings you could probably buy 4 and if you might need them again?

Ok thanks. I'll make some enquiries on this.
