Take DA:O's gameplay (combat mechanics) & graphics...and stick them on a 'sandbox' style game world (Oblivion/ Fallout), and you have MY perfect game!!!!!!!

Ah...but it starts to make more sense when you realise Deus Ex: Human Revolution is out soon.....as well as Crysis 2, Dragon Age 2, with Elder Scrolls: Skyrim coming out at the end of the year as well!!

Its a great game in its own right, but its not a patch on Baldurs Gate series - I've had this rant already in the PC RPG thread yesterday, so I won't repeat it

No idea how anyone plays it on consoles though...on a pad?? Eek!

and the IWD series

infact i installed BG2 the other day as well
played the first 2 dungeons !

shame you can't see all the to hit and luck, damage rolls etc. in dragons age .. makes it much more real to see the numbers
