Hi there,

A random question about kitchen worktops here. At the moment I am in the "reasearch" dreaming stage of planning a new kitchen for my flat.

I was wondering if anyone her has got those recycled glass/resin worktops. I have been having a look at Glasseco and Resilica stuff. It looks really nice.

So the questions to anyone that has that kind of stuff are:
1. How much is it generally per m
2. How durable is it
3. How long is the lead time after ordering
4. Do you like it or have you got bored of it

That about covers it for now.

Also if anyone knows anyother manufacturers of the same kind of thing please post. thumbup

Cheers.

I've not used that before but all your questions could and should be answered by the mob who manufacture it.

I have in the past in a flat we were re-furbing in Lowndes Sq. behind Harvey Nicks, installed a 38mm frosted solid slab of glass as a worktop, and get this........ it was side lit as well.

We used a Agabekov LED lighting strip as a light source inside the stainless steel channel in side the wall.

I may of become quite aroused when it was finally switched on..........

I can't even tell you of the hours I spent turning the kitchen tap on and off as well, that was lit too. A single LED in the tip of the spout that changed colour as the temp changed.

Very sexy flat that was.

Went for about £8m in the end.
