I have a t shirt that was bought as a gift from abroad a few years back.

I realy like the material that its made of, its kind of silky (but prob not that expensive) and I have never seen a t shirt made of the same material on the high street.

Anyone know what type of place I can take it and ask them to see if they can work out what material it is and find out where I can more.

At a guess I would say its somesort of a manmade material but its very flexible (has no tag)

sounds like a running/football tshirt, probably made from polyamide or an other derivative of polyester.

I have a few, great for hill walking as they are fast drying, warm (for a tshirt), stretchy & comfortable. I do wear them for running too.

Usually get them here http://www.decathlon.co.uk/EN/deefuz-essential-t-s... but have some nike and adidas ones too.

if it helps.........
the particular shirt i have is glossy/shiny

also if you look closely at the material it looks like its made up of lots of little squares with holes in this, if you hold it up to light and stretch slightly the light will come through.
