Morning,
The tyre sealant in my Focus expires at the end of this month. Can anyone recommend the best place to buy a replacement? Ive looked on ebay and found some supposidly 'brand new' Continental for £15 + £3 postage but it expires November 2011 so I'd be in the same position later this year!
Cheers,
Adrian

Have you tried a Ford dealer? It's probably dear, but you never know. I'd be interested in the answer to this too.

Found this website that has both replacement sealants, and the full compressor system if you need it.

I've heard a can of Tyre Weld is the stuff to go for? If a tyre is repaired with the Continental stuff then the puncture can't be permanantly repaired at a later date, with Tyre Weld it can?

I had no idea it has a limited life - I'd better check mine! The car is almost 4 years old now....

Mines an 07 reg.

Can anyone verify if the continental stuff really does stop the tyre being repaired?

There are a few bottles on eBay but they are 450ml. The bottle in my car is 560ml. Do you think 450ml is therefore not enough?
Cheers

I didnt use the full amount on my tyre, but it still had a fair bit of air left in it, plus i only drove it for another 5 miles or so to get the tyre replaced.

So guess it depends on where the tyre is totally flat or not.
