Does anyone know anything about this car? Seems priced at a ridiculously low level:

I think the chap should mention that it's Cat D in the advert.

You could end up spending £20 on a HPI just to find that out or worse travel over to Ireland for him then to tell you or even worse maybe not even realise and end up buying the car!!! I'm surprised PH haven't withdrawn the ad.

I don't think there's anything wrong with buying a Cat D, but not disclosing it in the advert is misleading IMHO

While I do totally agree with you I'm sure it would have been made clear with a simple phone call before viewing.

I've noticed more and more in recent years that many people want to discuss a complete deal over emails and shy away from phoning completely confused

Even worse is a text asking "what's the lowest you will take". Hate that! I think if they are genuin they would phone.

I'm the same on this. Obviously something was wrong with it so it might as well be mentioned up front.

My thoughts on this...

1) I actually couldnt give a monkeys if a car had been tracked, there's the chance it could highlight any underlying problems and they would have been sorted unlike cars that have never seen a track until the new owner takes it out and finds problems.

2) Yes it is wrong that he didn't disclose all info which is a big deal, however the car looks good, the fact it doesn't have a splitter doesn't matter, my M400 didn't when i bought it. The rear diffuser is not the correct part but this or the headlights being dark would not bother me in the slightest for 20k, providing it drives well and underneath is all as it should be, I would buy it if i didn't have my car and make some changes to give it a personal touch anyway. IE reverie carbon diffuser. wink

3) The guy "selling" it for his brother is a cock. smile
