Liberty/Legacy - noisy clutch

The clutch on my 2004 Liberty/Legacy 2.5 is making a bit of a squealing noise. Doesn't do it all the time, only if I'm a bit clumsy or take off a bit sharp'ish. Gears all engage fine, and there's no slipping. Had it looked at by a local 'specialist' who pronounced nothing untoward wrong, and I'm inclined to go with that until it starts to slip/judder/go on the blink, but is there anything else that might be an underlying cause, or anything else that might go with the clutch???

Replacement clutch out here is going to be about AU$1500/GBP900 so need to know if its time to start saving...

You sure it's not the drive belt slipping matey...?

Yep - I'm sure - all belts changed about 4000km ago, its definitely the clutch being noisy on take up.
