Anyone watch the first episode yesterday, I thought it was a pretty good start. Awesome sniping from Gibbs. Can't wait for next week.

Season 8? Way ahead of you if so, and yeah, good episode. The whole season's shaping up quite well actually.

NCIS has been consistantly good throughout all the series, very impressive.

The only bad part was when the team was split up, only, that itself served as a tool to make us appreciate the team which prolonged the greatness of the show, so, even the bad part was good because it was so good at what it needed to do, like having a genuinely bad 'bad guy' on a soap opera.

Good point - in 8 seasons the only thing I really haven't liked was when they killed off Kate...but only because she was hot.

Oh, and the slightly meandering/confusing/open-ended story with Jenny (the old director). That got tedious.

Prefer Abby myself , this series has had its moments but it'll never beat the first couple.
