Roy Hodgson - level of vitriol is unacceptable

I have not browsed too many LFC or general footballing forums. But email correspondence from friends (who have the misfortune to be LFC fans) confirms my suspicions that the personal attacks on Hodgson is ongoing and relentless.
I do not know what goes on these other specialized forums, but on PH surely, the level of abuse, name calling and slanging of Hodgson should not be allowed.
Reading the LFC thread, whilst thoroughly amusing and entertaining, it is evident that LFC fans have let their emotions get the better of them. Sure, they are not best pleased with the club's current predicament, but questioning Roy's parentage, his sexual preferences or his mental health is out of order.

He has failed liverpool football club immensely so unfortunately will come in for some abuse, some of which is name-calling other stuff is just empty threats from fans who are tired of seeing there club being ripped apart and failing miserably. With all the ownership farce going on at least we could play some decent football occasionally, this has gone now and Roy is mainly to blame.

Seriously though, where is this famous liverpool fans mentality everyone bangs on about? The one where they're supposed to be behind their manager and team no matter what? Liverpool fans are just as fickle and moronic as the rest of us.

One day Yazz you will realize that when football is concerned, it turns men into fking idiots, and they are blind to what they say and do.
Countless times you'll see some scumbag in the stands hurling abuse at a player, wker, tosser, fking etc, then the next week they'll be cheering them when they play for England. Fans are fickle.

The nonagenarian footballing gnome has been blamed for recent poor results after sending the entire squad out with a farthing each on a hunt across Liverpool to see if they still sell licorice bullets.
The club has now opened negotiations with the sales team at Dignitas, the Swiss clinic where dreams come true for a bit.
Assistant manager Sammy Lee said: "He keeps asking whether Switzerland is by the seaside and whether they do a nice pie and pea supper. I hope he doesn't struggle."
He added: "I'm dreading the journey over as we had to stop two dozen times on our way to Blackburn because he refused to use the coach facilities. Hopefully the flight back will give me time to relax before I have to confront whatever the hell could possibly be coming next."
Relations are still strained between manager and players since Hodgson accused all of them, except Joe Cole, of trying to work their way into his will, which currently names the Cats Protection League as the sole benefactor.
