Weird noise in Bournemouth

I live about 3 miles from Bournemouth airport and there is a really weird noise coming from it!
It's like a Jumbo taxiing on the runway but it's been going on for about 40 mins.
Anyone else hear it? I might have a drive over to see what it is.

It could be aliens, and if I go over they might take me

Almost certainly.
There are several aircraft based at Bournemouth that do regular engine-runs.

I live approx 1 mile as the crow flies from the main runway. Can't hear anything. Occasionally get woken by the mail plane taking off at ~5:00 tho'.

Well I've just been out and came home that way and couldn't hear a thing, I pull up on my drive and it starts again


However I was given a £5 note and forgot about it when I got out, then remembered, couldn't find it but found a diamond down the back of the passenger seat!

Today has been a very weird day!

Pete, the lead on my headphones won't reach to the drive way, and apart from anything I don't have any!!
