Hi folks

Just a reminder that the first monthly meet of the year will be the 16th of Jan at the Tudor Oaks Lodge (http://www.tudoroakslodge.co.uk/) in Astwick starting at 1130 as usual.

TVRs are optional in this weather, so don't make that an excuse not to come wink

I will be using part of the meeting to share with you the dates for the various events the club has lined up in the year and also to arrange more local events that are of specific interest to our region.

There will not be a run-in this month due to weather considerations, but don't let that stop you coming.

Dates of events have been posted to our website at http://www.tvrcc-herts-beds.co.uk/future-events.as... including details of special one-off open-days as they are arranged.

See you there,

Alex

My TVR is now dead. Crank snapped. Fortunately only the pulley end broke so the engine is undamaged. Have no plans to repair this half of the year, so will be selling the car as a project or for parts frown Will still pop along to the odd meeting or two with the Lotus when back on the road.

Bugger. Not a good way to start the year, Jon frown

Happened on a NewYears eve on a run with the Essex Loti folk in the damp. Could not get the power down so not working the engine hard really. Got 4 miles from the destination after an 100 mile blat. At least i saved on the return fuel idea Happened 'last year' so not thinking of it as a bad start to this year biggrin

Hi Keith

It's been a long time my friend. Have you still got the Lotus? By the way I sold the T350c as you know and then got me a Griff 500, can be seen for sale at Str8six, and I have finally purchased my dream car.

Simply go to YOUTUBE and look at the Racing Green Sagaris in F1 Green.

I was very lucky to buy that actual car. Thanks to Jason @ Str8six and a few others too. Will be up very early tomorrow washing and preping the car. If you can buz me please matey as I might need assitance with the exact time and meeting point. Mob: 07766 754444.

Cheers

Hoping to pop by and catch up with everyone - it's been a while. I will be in a TVR - whatever the weather nuts. Also think that Boatbuoy will be with me in his recently acquired Cerbera smile. And my friend in a 911 - with two Cerberas as wingmen I'm not expecting any trouble okay boys! wink.

Hey Nicky!

I agree, sun shine would be great. There's so much water on the roads at the moment its like doing off-road driving at some points!

Lets hope it dries out before the weekend

Can't disagree with you on that one. The roads in some places I use to go into work are... eek find a new route...

Looks like it will be dry, but very gray and overcast. Well, it is only January I suppose so probably the best we can hope for. Roll on summer I say!

See everyone tomorrow smile
