Hi All
I am thinking of taking my Tuscan to Spain (Costa Calida) in May and wondered if anyone could make some recommendations for the route? Also, I seem to remember when Tuscans first came out some people had problems boarding certain ferries due to the angle of the ramps and ground clearance. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

No problems with ferries - mine has been on many cross-channel ferries, the Eurotunnel, Portsmouth-Santander, and random river crossing ferries around Europe. All fine smile

As for the route, it depends on how long you want to take. If many days, aim for Eastern France, down through the Champagne and Cote d'Or regions on N roads (the N71 is fastest road I've ever driven on outside an airfield or autobahn, just wonderful), then either the foothills of the Alps (Mont Ventoux would be a possibility) or something more central - the Route Napoleon is amazing if you have the time. Personally I wasn't wowed by the roads in Western France; I'd subject myself to the Bay of Biscay instead and spend more time in Spain!

Thanks Pete
I'm thinking 3 days going, 3 days there and then 2 days back. Will do some map reading and take the Eastern route!
