V6 S exhaust on Ebay

Just saw this - unless I'm very much mistaken it's for a V6 S...

Sounds like a mild steel jobbie, but may be worth fifty quid to someone?

With the tail pipes running parrallel (and refering to the parts catalogue) I'd take a guess at S1 ie 2.8 engine but if price is right could no doubt be made to fit anything !

From the pictures that looks the same as the system on my 1989 S2, except mine was bought in stainless, custom made and cost some *cough*muppet*cough* just over a grand (I have the reciept)!!!

Wonder who bought it? Looks like they got an outstanding bargain to me. It looks identical to the stainless pipe/silencer set on my S1. From what I can see there is rust on the seam welds but not on the main body which, given the time it has been in storage, suggests it may possibly be stainless (although I couldnt enlarge it to get a better view). It looks as if the tail pipes hae had added protection. The stainless sets sold by TVR had polished tail pipes, not sure if any mild steel ones would have chromed tail pipes.

... would have to be pretty poor quality stainless

That's an S exhaust alright; Nick's is exactly the same. He bagged a stainless one on Ebay for 30 quid the other week, it looks like a TVR Car Parts one too. Did he get the bargain of the century?!
