Anyone watching? - How the hell is he doing it - the last one where the woman was 'under' and chose that guy with the right money?

I saw this show live in Nottingham and wasn't impreseed to be honest. I really like his TV shows but watching the show live most of the tricks are easy to figure out.

What is amazing is that he chooses people by chance and you tell by their reaction they don't know how it has happened.

When I saw it live in Sunderland I had literally no idea how it was done, and I knew the girl who got hypnotised and walked round the audience, she genuinely said she had no idea what was going on, and certainly didn't remember drinking vinegar.

I am glad im not alone smile also good to know that some of the audience was not paid of to participate in the acts.

That whole show was just mind boggling, i had a few doubts when they used the poles and curtains for the spirit part but other than that it was great. I love how he ties all his show together it all adds to the mystery.

So do it. That's exactly what I did last year. Watched him a few times on TV and bought some last minute tickets for his last tour.

I have also bought tickets for his new tour

Really. I think a third and be worked out fairly easily. Another third you can work out by thinking about them logically. The other third is simply how the fk did he do that?

Vinegar... think about it..... First woman puts drops of vinegar on hand. Yuk! It's vinegar.

DB then unscrews cap and pours vinegar into cup which is then drank.....

Perhaps the cap is a small container that contains all of 5ml of vinegar, but the actual bottle contains tea or coke?

Plausible but DB had the girl smell the glass after he poured it in.

I will be looking in to buying tickets, at the minute there is no seats available that i want. I am now on the mailing list for future venues. thumbup

Saw this show live in Wimbledon where it was filmed - might even have been the night televised.

He's a real entertainer, and very good at what he does. I have no truck with "magic" shows, they don't interest me, especially all that "cutting the woman in half" crap - we know it's a trick, I don't know how it's done, but I'm not particularly bothered.

What I like about DB is that he is totally up front about what he does - a mixture of misdirection, cold reading, sleight of hand, etc. and he is the consummate showman. Very funny and erudite. I had no idea how he did the tricks, but they were very convincing.

Go and see him live, it's a great atmosphere.

Oh, and he does a blinding impression of Stuey from Family Guy!

I seen this show in Dublin when it was on. I was sitting beside a couple. The girl of the couple stood up and was brought down to the stage. I can't remember which trick it was. But the boyfriend was freaking out. Couldn't watch it at all. It wasn't an act that's for sure.

Some things like picking McFly and the confetti are all just suggestion etc, although we were trying to look out for that kind of thing and never noticed anything. But god that guy is good at what he does!

Vinegar has quite a taste.

Pour a few drops of your palm... lick them. Do it again just to make sure.

Now pour a glass of water for yourself and smell it.... Does it smell of vinegar by any chance??
