attaching trumpet flares?

got the sc power plenum spacer kit including the flared ends for the trumpets...they are a good tight fit but presumably they need to be glued or something..? Anyone done this and if so what glue or method did you use? I have araldite but am cooncerned about potential problems with engine heat?

just used a dab of araldite on mine, they managed to stay on even after the tvr power fire so heat doesn't effect it!

Thought araldite would do the job - just wanted to here it from someone who actually done it!

When I did my carbon ones they were stuck in with an epoxy glue so I'm sure araldite will be grand. I see you might be planning a trip in June this year to watch a little motor race? Will you be at the meet Sun? Looking forward to seeing the motor.

I recommend JB weld, its an epoxy resin, but actually goes rock hard and can take a higher temp than ordinary epoxy's.
