2005 X5 Pending purchase...what should i look out for

Hi Folks this is my 1st 4x4 purchase and im travelling about 8 hours to view this car so i want to be sure when looking at the vehicle i know what to look out for.
The can is a lat 05 (55) facelift BMW X5 Sport with Comms Pack, Heated Seats, Exclusive Nappa and Sport Plus Options.
Is there a main achillies heel for this model...what about the turbo (its a 3.0d Sport) brakes etc?
Any help would be great.

I love my X5 but they are not without their problems, my 55reg 3.0d just had new PAS pipe, 2 new CV boots & the auxilary heater replaced but luckily I have an aftermarket warranty as the bill total was over £1500 & that was through a local independant specialist !! No idea what BMW would have charged.
This is on a car that's just gone 5 years old & 40k miles.
Main ( expensive ) things that appear to cause problems are the auto box & the turbo but usually on higher mileage cars ( though not always )
There's a lot of electrical items on these cars so make sure thay all work.
Panaramic sunroof can also be expensive to fix, daren't use mine as warranty will not cover it & suspension bushes etc have a hard life due to weight of the car.
