• I went to the BBR site.
• Now evo have done a story on it (which i'll read tonight)

and i really want one. I am still wondering about an STI or and Elise or an S2K... but, well, I really fancy one of these.

I was wondering how much money people reckoned one my lose...

and more importantly.. how much 'rebuiilding' BBR do.

If/when i am more serious i'll speak to them but does anyone know how much work they're doing to the base car? i only ask becasue it strikes me that £7,500 for the finished article onlt sounds like £3,000 for a solid car plus their conversion...

No idea, but you'd have thought at least they'd need to:
- get the exterior tarted up, paint corrected and machine polished at least
- refresh the drivetrain and suspension, bushes etc.
- ensure there's no rot underneath
- refresh the brakes to standard spec.
- valet the interior
- new belts, sparks etc.

IIRC the car tested was nearer 12k so i'd also be interested so see what you get for 7.5K
