S320CDi Any tyres...anywhere?

Following the recent bad weather, is there a national tyre shortage? 
This week, I have been unable to find any tyres anywhere for my W220 S320CDi, I am now waiting a couple of weeks, hoping tyres become available...
I need two each of "Y" rated 245/45R18 and 265/40R18 (could use 275/40R18) tyres and I do not want "run flats", as I do not like them.
Any ideas welcome...

The tyre sizes are as specified in the MB owners manual and are for the S320CDi with 18" AMG alloy wheels.
Oh and I meant to add....I checked the sizes on a tyre change calculator and the effective diameters work out exactly the same as those for the standard MB alloy wheels and tyres, again quoted in the MB owner's manual.
The RWD S Class cars like mine, appear to have wider and lower section rear tyres than those on the front that are narrower tread width, but a taller sidewall.
The other weird thing is that the wheel bolts for the AMG wheels are not long enough to go through the standard spare wheel (black alloy space saver). The space saver is brand new and the original supplied with the car. I had to buy 5 spare bolts that are 1/2 an inch longer than those used with the AMG wheels. The new spare bolts are now carefully packed in the boot with the spare wheel!
I guess with all the derivative models, variations and wheel/tyre options, it is not straightforward. The car standard equipment tyres are either Continental or run flat Dunlop Sport (which I currently have).
I can't honestly recommend the Dunlop run flat tyres, it may be that they are just reaching the end of their life, but they white-line, follow lorry grooves on the motorway, slip on drain lids, are noisy and rumbly on the motorway and fidgety on poor surfaces.
Apologies to any Dunlop fans, these are just my personal experiences.

FK452s are one of the noisiest and hardest tyres I have had, I went straight from Michelin PS2s to these and took them off after 3000 miles as I couldn't live with it.
I had had 4 sets before but that had replaced runflats so didn't feel any worse, but going from PS2s to the FK452s really showed why they are a budget tyre.

Hi Toffer, Do you find Michelins better than the factory fitted Conti's? I'm on my 2nd set of Conti's and the road noise once below 4mm is unbelievable, to the point where it sounds like something is wrong with the car. I've always been really impressed with Michelin tyres in the past so may give them a go.gizlaroc said:

Funnily enough, about three months ago I started to get a horrible noise from the back end of my w210 that sounded like a wheel or diff bearing was beginning to wear. It got steadily worse until the day when I put it's winter boots on. Almost all the noise disappeared immediately. Yes, I had taken off the 452's.
