Just out of interest, just starting out on the roads and bought some winter kit but would be nice to have a PH jersey for spring/summer.

Might be better to ask in the PH shop.

No plans at the moment guys I'm afraid, but never say never.

Stuart is the person who organises these, so I'm sure he'll answer later on.

[lurch]You rang?[/lurch]

I'll have a word with the chaps from the shop at the show. I wouldn't be up for doing another one myself because;

1) It was a huge amount of bloody work.

2) Paypal accused me of money laundering, locked my account and all the cash is still sitting in a paypal account I can't do anything with. True.

3) I fear I'd have to order a size larger for myself after 6 months of baby feeding rather than exercising, and I couldn't take the humiliation.

However if Dan and the boys at Dread are up for it, we're on.

Any chance of some loose MTB jerseys? I really am not built for skin tight lycra and the world really doesn't want to see me in skin tight lycra.

If the Dread guys are happy to do so, why not.

I would certainly be up for ordering 1 (or more). Over the relatively short time I have been registered on PH, there seems to have been a fairly steady demand for such a thing as a cycle jersey, and from reading older threads, it seems that they have been available. I keep looking at the shop, but nothing ever comes up. Put me on the list. The more people that announce their interest, the easier it will be to gauge demand, and the more likely that they might be a regularly available item in the PH shop, rather than a limited run item that mostly seems to coincide with the LB threads.

I'd be interested in a loose MTB style one. Needs to have a BIG PH logo on the back, so people can see you though.

MTB with Big logos front and rear or there's no point as the rear one will be under the pack.

OK Stuart, we seems fairly clear on what we want.

Can you knock up a design for a yellow, white, black, orange mtb left side & roadie right side shirt with smallish but massive logos on. If you want you can have a play and put up a poll of 1 to choose from.

Lets us know if you want paying by paypal, cash, cheque or possibly even bails of hay.

So here is the list of Usernames, only 20 places!

And much hilarity ensued.....

...but on a serious note, I found the threads for previous Jersey sales too late. Why is it necessary to have a list? And if there has to be a list, why does it necessarily have to be limited in length? Would it not be a better idea (as I suggested earlier in this thread) to simply gauge demand, which could be done by looking at sales of previous (limited run) jerseys, and the numbers on 'reserve lists' who (presumably)didn't get a chance to buy, combined with an estimate of current interest, then surely the PH shop on the main site could handle the sales and stock ordering, which might even eliminate the 'Can't pay/won't pay' crowd (payment with order), and avoid the mob who join a list with no intention of buying, and give PH'ers the chance to buy as many, or as few shirts as they liked, in multiple sizes/colours/styles (dependant on demand). Selling via the shop would also mean transparent stock availability, and the potential to hold pre-orders until demand was sufficient to make a re-stock cost effective. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is surely no major difference in the process for the ordering/design/supply of a mug/t-shirt/baseball cap, compared to a cycle jersey, other than the fact that it would probably have to come from a different manufacturer. Surely the only real decision to be made is Aesthetic design and quantity. The designs for the cut and structure/fit of a jersey already exist with volume cycle clothing manufacturers, making jerseys to existing patterns. Or am I over simplifying the situation??
