My first TVR, is also a 1996 starmist blue Chim 4.0 HC first reg. 21-12-96.
I will try and find out what I can about yours.
Mine seems very thirsty, how many miles do you get per litre or gallon?
I am talking about a third of a full tank doing less than 40 miles if the gauge can be trusted.

Not really sure on exact amounts,but i would say i get alot further than 40miles on a third of a tank especially from the top of the tank gauge.

Still love my paintjob! I usually get around 60 miles from a quarter tank if i don´t try too hard. 96 Chim 400 too. When mine started drinking it had a failed lambdasensor.
