BrAnd new and broken already
Discussion
Well we have finally collected the new rangie this afternoon, and the damn thing is broken already! I mean on the first corner it did not feel right. OH agreed that it did not behave the same as the old one, oh well let's try for a bit longer. 10 min later and the problem is persisting...there is no body roll. Come on this is meant to be a full fat boat ride, but instead it is almost flat in the corners. What ever next, good fuel economy.
Next problem was that the rear view mirrors did not work. This was easily solved by turning the damn things on, why don't we read the fxxng manual.
Acceleration is in a different world to the old tdv8, with the flappy paddles adding a bit of fun to the proceedings.
Proper write up after our first trip to Scotland. For now here is a picture of the old and new together in the showroom.

And a gratuitous Disco in the snow photo.

I have an irrational hatred of Range Rovers, a special kind of hatred is reserved for the Sport too.
Im not quite sure what it is, i think its because instead of reminding me of farmers like the old ones did, they just remind me of footballers and drug dealers now. A ruined image imo.
Still, give me a Disco3/4 any day of the week.

Whats this lark about turning the mirrors on, has it got those cameras installed on it?
In one of the menus you can select for the mirrors to dip when you select reverse, thus allowing you to see where the tyre is in relation to the pavement.Cameras are also present. One in each wing mirror, 2 in the front bumper and one in the boot lid. Useful in tight situations, both on and off road.

Why not ask yourself these questions and leave it to others to make their own decisions, as it is none of your business.
