G25 set up on GT5 help !
Discussion
I'm not sure I am getting the best from my logitec g25 wheel experience on gran tourismo 5 .
my current settings are:
In main wheel options screen: ( DF pro )
steering type – professional
power steering – on
Force feed back – 5 ( default )
During game: ( driving options )
Traction control – 3 or 4 ( default 5)
Active stability management ( ASM) – on
ABS- 1
All other driving aids turned off.
Should I have steering type set to simulation ? , should all driving aides be turned off ?.
The thing is, with these settings I am having a great time playing but feel I may be cheating in some way . My 500bhp R33 skyline handles like a dream
( prob as it should do , great car by the way !) . The reason I haven't changed the settings to anything much harder is because on the top gear track lotus challenge I could hardly keep the car on the track let alone win the race !.
I am aware that in real life some cars have many driving aids built into them. It would be a bit of pain turning stuff on and off ( after researching what they have ?
) every time I change my car.
Any help or advise on this would be greatly appreciated.

My settings for my G25 are :
Wheel : Simulation
FF power = max
in game
All assists off, everything.
You'll have to adjust the brake bias when turning off teh ABS, as the standard brake bias settings are way off.
Most cars you'll have to tune brake bios down to 2:1 or 3:1.

is there a good car you would recommend practicing on with these settings ? , also does connecting the wheel up to my laptop and adjusting calibration setting effect the wheel when you are playing on the ps3 or is that only for use with pc games.
cheers.
No it doesnt. It auto calibrates when you turn PS3 on. cheers.
